We use two cameras to mimic a three-camera studio production at an affordable rate. One camera closely follows the action onstage, while the other camera maintains coverage of the full stage area. Our editors combine the footage seamlessly so that our videos look like we spent a week watching rehearsals, while we are actually seeing the show for the first time as we record it.
Our focus on audio recording is what makes our finished videos stand out. We typically make three redundant audio recordings of every event, using the following:
A mounted microphone placed on our camera for general house recording.
A stereo pair of small microphones that we place at the front of your stage to capture "front row audio."
A direct feed of your body mics from your house sound system, when available.
Our editors then create the best audio mix for your production.
Titles and DVD Chapters/Menus
Our title credits give your video a finished look. Using the information in your program, we create an opening title card and scrolling credits at the end of your video. We also show each performer's name on screen as the performance begins. For DVD editing, we create custom chapters for easy navigation, and we pull stills from the performance to make a polished DVD menu.
Digital Download Distribution
We offer digital downloads as MP4 video files of the full play in high definition. We send you a link to download the file directly to your computer.
Why We Specialize
Many professional wedding and party videographers believe that all videography is the same. This is why you often see plays recorded with blown out faces, poor audio, no zooming in, and other common errors. Our videographers are expertly trained in the specific techniques that create a professional quality video of a play.
What About Copyright?
If you are unsure about copyright as it pertains to the recording of your performance, please ask us for more information. We have a lot of experience with this issue and we'd be happy to share our knowledge with you.
