PLAYS/MUSICALS

Two-Camera Videography

We use two cameras to affordably and efficiently mimic a three-camera studio production. One camera zooms in to follow the center of attention, while the other camera maintains coverage of the wider stage area. Our editors combine the footage to create a seamless finished video.

Audio Recording

Our focus on audio recording is what makes our finished videos stand out. We typically make three redundant audio recordings of every event, using the following:

1.  A microphone mounted on our camera for general house recording.

2.  A stereo pair of small microphones that we place at the front of your stage to capture "front row audio."

3.  A direct feed of your body mics from your house sound system, when available.

Our editors then create the best audio mix for your production.

Titles

Our title credits give your video a finished look. Using the information in your program, we create a main title at the start and scrolling credits at the end of your video.

Digital Download Distribution

We offer digital downloads as MP4 video files of the full performance. We send you a link to download the file directly to your computer.

Why We Specialize

Many professional wedding and party videographers believe that all event videography is the same. This is why you often see plays and musicals recorded with blown out faces, poor audio, no zooming in, and other common errors. Our videographers are expertly trained in the specific techniques that create a professional quality video of a stage performance.

What About Copyright?

If you are unsure about copyright as it pertains to the recording of your performance, please ask us for more information. We have a lot of experience with this issue and we'd be happy to share our knowledge with you.
